Questions buyers ask Is it really waterproof? It is heavily water-repellent. The beeswax-treated canvas sheds rain and keeps the contents dry in wet weather, but the seams and zips are not sealed, so it is not a submersible dry bag. Will a 15-inch laptop fit? Yes. There is a dedicated padded compartment sized for a 15-inch laptop. How big is it? 47 cm tall by 33 cm wide (18.5 x 13 in), with 23 liters of capacity. How heavy is it empty? 1,220 g, 2.7 lb. What is it made of? 70% waxed cotton canvas and 30% calfskin leather, with stainless bronze buckles and a polyester lining. Can I wash it? No. Never machine wash waxed canvas and never use detergent, because it strips the wax. Brush it, then spot clean with cold water. Does the wax wear off? Slowly, with use. Re-wax it when water stops beading, usually after a year or two of regular carrying. Is it a men's or women's backpack? It is unisex. The size and strap adjustment suit anyone, in whichever color you choose
